MARJORAM HYDROSOL

The marjoram herb is native to Europe and the Near East and is cultivated throughout Europe and North Africa. Marjoram hydrosol has a fresh, mildly spicy-terpenic, and slightly medicinal aroma with a warm, sweet, woody- herbaceous undertone.

Blends with: Bergamot, Cypress, Lavender, and Wild Orange

Constituents: Terpinene 4-ol and cis-sabinene hydrate are 2 main oxygenated monoterpenes isolated from O majorana. Linalool, linalyl acetate, α-terpineol

Uses:

• It is used to reduce the presence of unwanted bacterial, fungal and viral activity.
• It can be used to treat lung disorders and severe cough.
• It is also used to eliminate snoring , as it promotes the respiratory system and calms the larynx.
