Natural Bergamotene is a group of isomeric chemical compounds with the molecular formula C15H24. The bergamotenes are found in a variety of plants, particularly in their essential oils.
There are two main types of bergamotene: alpha-bergamotene and beta-bergamotene.
Sources: Canadian fleabane (Conyza Canadensis) and copaiba balsam (Copaifera officinalis) are the primary source of Bergamotene. The other sources of Bergamotene are Bergamot oil, Citron oil, Basil oil and Kumquat oil etc.
Bergamotene is also being studied for its potential health benefits, including its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It may also have potential as a natural insecticide and repellent.
