This hydrosol is steam distilled from the leaves of the cinnamon plant. It has a medium aroma of warm spicy scent between that of clove and cinnamon, but with herbaceous notes that are not sweet. It originates in Sri Lanka. It is mostly used for external purposes only.
Blends with: clove bud, lavender, cedarwood, and lemon
Constituents: Benzyl-benzoate, cinnamic-aldehyde, eugenol-acetate.
Uses:
- It is used to treat the infection.

- It is also used to get rid of anxiety and acne.
