The essential oil of cumin is extracted from its dried and crushed seeds through a process of steam distillation. All the medicinal properties come from its essential oils, which in their effective form are far more effective and beneficial, than cumin seeds.
Blends with: Cilantro and coriander essential oils, dill, fennel, peppermint etc.
Constituents: cuminic acid, cymene, dipentene, limonene, phellandrene and pinene.
Uses:
- It is used to kill bacteria and removes flatulence.
- It is also used to aid digestion.
- It is used to heal wounds and promotes urination.
